10th diary</A>, Grandma and her friends (Mrs.I) still have some problems
in sending/receiving E-mail with attachments. Attachment file from Grandma
(Mac) to Mrs.I (Windows.) worked fine, but now, Grandma cannot open an attachment
from Mrs.I who also has same problem with her brother. So I suggest Mrs.I
to send an E-mail to me (Tomoko).</TD></TR>

I am very sorry for asking you to spare your precious time, not only of
your mother's. An attachment file I sent to Mrs.K(Grandma) was prepared
by WORD(.doc), I suppose that could be a cause of the problem. So Now I
am using Text-format(.txt) in this mail.</TD></TR>

We could open your attachment file without any problem, both by Windows
and Macintosh. Text-format files can be opened by any machine ( Windows,
Macintosh or others). The computer of my parents did not install WORD (--
there is Mac version too), I think that is the most probable cause of the
&quot;Kanji-ghost&quot;. Now, Our computers both Windows and Macintosh installed
WORD program, so please send one more mail with an attachment in WORD(.doc)
format just for testing purpose. I believe we can open it here.</TD></TR>
