I play mainly the tennis, the yacht, and skiing now as for sports, and am doing the walking and Flexible/Radio exercises as the base. Moreover, I played table tennis, basketball(both school days) and climbing mountain(chiefly salaried man age) for sports. I'll explain more in detail.

Postcard        

1. Walking
Basically I walk putting up the pedometer but there is small idea unless I would not be able to continue. It is a situation of encouraging me by participating in the wellness walk rally of Tokyo Wisemenclub (a related group of YMCA?) of which tennis companion's Mr. S is taking charge, and exchanging information with companions.
When I apply to participate walk rally, then 12 postcards are send to me. The calender(1〜31days) is printed on the postcard and I fill every day the number of walk steps(number under 100 steps is cut down) and I send back the card to the club every end of the month after summerising the total number of steps. I would receive after one month the record of all members. The record consists of all 64 participants according to the order on the map(now Rocky-Andes trekking).
A good points participating in the rally is as followings.
1) I walk without using the elevator and the escalator if the building has a small number of floors.
2) I get off vehicle one station before the destination and I walks.
3) I walk in stead of riding on the bicycle. I ride on the bicycle in stead of riding a public vehicle. I ride public vehicle in stead of taking to the private car.
Then the number of the walking steps would increase.

2. Flexibile/Radio exercises
NHK is broadcasting the physical exercises(the 1st and the 2nd) from 6:30 in the morning by radio. Flexible exercise from 6:10 to 6:30 is added before these exercises. Many siver aged person do these exercises in the group every morning in local area of my home.
About 300 people gather in good season and about 100 people in the midwinter. The average age would be about 70 years old. I get up early in the morning and participate only once a week because I'm sleepy in the morning.
A painful body point would be find by physical exercise because there are not so many chances to move the whole body.
